Review of The Wedding Singer (1998) by Keenan S — 21 Aug 2013
Adam Sandler has been responsible for many god-awful films, but The Wedding Singer is thankfully not one of them. While the film is light and fluffy, the writing is solid, the acting is great (Especially between the leads who have surprising chemistry), and the humor is hilarious.
I also enjoyed the film because it knew how to balance humor with moments of genuine heart without feeling ridiculous and contrived. It's a wonderful comedy and a great surprise altogether. If you enjoy a good romantic comedy, this is one worth checking out.
