Review of The Weather Man (2005) by Ruhan R — 04 Mar 2011
Gore Verbinski took an ambitious script written by the hopeful Stephen Conrad. Nicolas Cage was installed into this project as the protagonist, Dave Spritz, a weather man in the midst of a modern mid-life crisis.
The audience is supposed to sympathize for him as he is pummeled by projectiles from Wendy`s and searches for purpose & identity. It felt genuine enough but the plot went bland after enough time elapsed.
Overall a decent watch if you`re just looking for a run-off-the-mill drama.
