Review of The Way We Were (1973) by Sans S — 15 Jul 2007
This has to be my all time favourite. Redford and Streisand both at their to-die-for best. The classic tale of "can't live with her, can't live without her" and how opposites can attrach.
The theme tune has to be one of the greatest love songs ever. I saw Barbra Streisand in concert in Vienna last month and when she sang this as beautifully as ever, the crowd went nuts. Have the tissues ready when you watch this, however many times it is, I sob at the end every time.
