Review of The Way We Were (1973) by Linda Edwards C — 04 Feb 2012
This Prince Charming/Ugly Duckling charmer has a real love story, and a dose of history which makes it more irresistible with each viewing, The chemistry is obvious between the phenomenal Redford and appropriately abrasive, but compelling Streisand.
Their offscreen respect for each other is reflected in a touching treatment of the material. This has always been one of my favorites, and I never tire of reviewing it on a rainy afternoon! It is also one of my husband's favorites, as he likes the way Hubbell holds his own with Katie!
