Review of The Way of the Gun (2000) by Senthil M — 11 Jan 2008
Way under rated. this is one movie that just oozes with amazing style, dialogue, action, gun fights, and two of the most unsympathetic but extremely engaging & entertaining main characters you'll ever see who are ushered in with one hell of an introduction that I guarantee no viewer would forget.
The Music was fucking incredible; I love movies where the music really feels like an actual character in the film & that is what you have here.
The cast is overall pretty good, especially the leads Ryan Phillippe & Benencio Del Toro (though Juliette Lewis annoyed me) and it has pretty heavy plot/story that is told well.
If you liked "The Usual Suspects" check this film out as it is written/directed by Chris McQuarrie who wrote "Usual Suspects".
