Review of The Way of the Gun (2000) by Rob — 26 Jul 2007
Met with mixed reviews, this unheralded thriller quickly became a favourite of mine. The serpentine plot, strong lead performances and jaded, realistic approach to low-rent criminality struck a chord with me.
The final shoot-out in a mexican compound is the most realistic gun-fight I've seen on celluloid. This film's slicker than oil on ice.
