Enjoyed it from a sentimental point of view, nice scenery, interesting borderline characters. At the heart of is a question about generosity and how people respond. It does stereotype the American well-to-do tourist and add some wacky co-travelers which was a touch formulaic.
Good tear jerker for the old traveler.
