Probably the last 'good' Sandler movie. This movie still has some funny moments unlike his newer movies, but is incredibly dumb like his previous movies. It finds the right balance that he hasn't been able to match.
Bobby Boucher is a waterboy for an elite football program, eventually they let him go and he goes to a terrible program and ends up making the team because they are that bad. It does what you expect and not much else.
Kathy Bates is great as a crazed over protective southern mother.
