A pleasant story with a crowd-pleasing conclusion. Dialogue is weak and matched by pedestrian performances. The writers lacked the courage to defy audience expectation and end the film with a real emotional punch, instead opting for a predictable ending.
Overall a watchable if unoriginal film that squandered an opportunity for brave writing.
