Review of The Water Diviner (2014) by Kevin D — 16 Apr 2015
Saw this in a free screening from Warner Bros. - Many of the war scenes were very well done. Most of the acting was decent. And while the Battle of Gallipoli was horrifc and even more Turks than ANZAC troops lost their lives, the movie's portrayal of Turks as honorable and patriotic, there's absolutely no mention of their perpetration of genocide on the Armenian people in the same year that Russell Crowe's sons supposedly died, 1915.
All in all, it was a very predictable film.
