Review of The Water Diviner (2014) by Prentice S — 11 Sep 2015
Russell Crowe's debut as a director could have been worse. He delivered a decent flick with a bit of an old-times tinge. Though a gruesome war film, the story never descends into mindless heroism and stays focused on the father's plight.
Bottom line: Good, but not exceptional.
