Review of The Warriors (1979) by Ifiok O — 03 Jul 2010
'The Warriors' works because it's a movie that has a story with a simple premise, yet it is still quite profound: a gang of youths wrongfully accused of murder are simply trying to make it home safely, but have to make the trip through treacherous locations as well as confront many rival gangs, some of which that are quite animated looking.
Regardless, the movie keeps the tension consistent, and it remains an influential cult classic. Hopefully, you can dig it.
