Watched THE WARD, back to back three movies today. This one was horror. Had several other movies to check out but preferred this one over others, coz it had the name John Carpenter over it. "Halloween" is personally one of my favorite classic horror movie & "The Thing" too was really amazing.

So this got me a bit excited despite the low ratings. But I felt that this movie is somehow under rated. THE WARD is actually a satisfying horror movie, but yes, surely we have seen so many such movies now.

There's a twist in the end, which is fine. It might be shocking for a moment but then we realize that we already have seen such stuffs. Amber Heard is actually a good actress & she is well aware how to act in different situations.

She will do well in other roles as well. Would also like to mention about the score in the starting credits & the ending credits, its spooky. Not really a John Carpenter's masterpiece or as good as Halloween, but this movie will give you chills here & there.

Not bad.
