I actually work with the people who made this, specifically with ayad akhtar who played hassan and co-wrote the script and am honored to be working on the 2nd draft of his new screenplay "Pornocray".

With that said, seeing him on a daily basis it's hard to fathom how such an outgoing and legitimately happy man can play such a tortured soul, and pull it off. The film does have its flaws and doesn't reach its full potential but with a 2-million dollar budget I don't think too many filmmakers would have been able to do it much better. The final 20 minutes are simply mind-blowing.
