Review of The War of the Roses (1989) by Madison N — 15 Nov 2012
A dark comedy about the horrors of marriage and divorce. It was fun but went on the extreme side quickly. It was a fun sincere romance that turned sour over time when the struggles of individuality led to competition between the two.
I still am not convinced with either sides arguments, but I enjoyed seeing them fight over the petty things. The ending was fitting for the tragedy, and how interesting to see the aspects of what was considered luxury for 1989.
Good dramatic soundtrack as well.
