Review of The Walk (2015) by Caleb C — 10 Oct 2015
It's got a bit of a cheeseball narration and yes, this was made to cater to families, which works fine for this true story with a huge heart and love letter to New York city and the Twin Towers . In that though and within the last 30+ minutes of this tale is some of the most entertaining and beautiful storytelling of this year.
It also contains some of the best 3D I've seen on screen. Joseph Gordon-Levitt also might be a shoe in for an oscar nomination this year as well. Robert Zemeckis (director of Back to the Future, Forest Gump and Flight) has directed one of the most thrilling family drama's in years or since Scorsese's Hugo.
