Review of The Walk (2015) by Robert M — 15 May 2016
Total edge-of-your-seat suspense. Great movie. Would recommend it to just about anyone. While it goes through a more traditional style of film storytelling with the main character narrating himself throughout, it brightens up the mood in the beginning, than leans toward an almost too serious middle, but then an epic end.
If anyone in the circus is an artist, than this trick for sure is true art itself. Some of the acting was maybe a bit bland, but it felt enough like how it was during classic times (I was almost guessing that Philippe played himself).
Overall, the movie was well mixed together, the visuals were pretty stunning for a film as such, and it's quite amazing how it came out around fourteen years after the towers' non-existences.
