Review of The Walk (2015) by Jim P — 04 Mar 2016
Never heard much about this quite big film until I gave it a go. It's the story of Philippe Petit, a high-wire artist that recruits a team to make his dream possible - he wants to walk the towers of World Trade Center.
Based on the real story, probably quite overdone and overdramatic. Still a nice experience. All right acting, mild presentation, smooth shots and good effects. Some thrilling moments and a great build up. The climax is long, maybe even a bit long, but it's a thrilling sequence, without being dumb or too nerve wrecking.
6.5 out of 10 balancing poles.
