The Walk is a beautiful looking and masterfully directed film from Robert Zemeckis, who crafts a film that both honors Phillip Petit and the World Trade Center. Joseph-Gordon Levitt gives a fantastic performance as Petit, bringing the life out of the man and making us want him to succeed.

His french accent took some time to get used to, but by the end I was fully on board. Zemeckis continues to prove hes the most underrated director in Hollywood. His visual style and brilliant direction are reasons he has brought us some of the most timeless film classics of all time.

I'm not sure if The Walk will be considered a classic, but its a damn enjoyable time. If you have the time you should go see The Walk, its a very uplifting and fun film.
