The story is amazing but any 15 minutes Youtube video does a better job in showing Petit's sense of poetry. Getting the usually great Gordon-Levitt to play him, bending all corners of the script to justify him speaking English to his friends is nothing but horrendous.
His perfomance is focused on getting the accent right which he surely does, everything else inside is missing though.
