Korean horror film is immersive, and appealing to all sorts of horror fans as it's both gory and psychologically terrifying. While it's epic running length can be sprawling, and it has uneasy shifts from the comic to the macabre, there's little doubt that The Wailing will go down as one of the year's best horror films (if not the very best).
