Review of The Wages of Fear (1953) by Ben W — 15 Nov 2009
Suspenseful to no end. it takes a while to get started but this is a study in screen tension. 4 guys drive 2 trucks full of nitro-glycerin over 300 miles of bumpy roads. bad things happen. clouzot understood tension in film.
