Review of The Wages of Fear (1953) by Ramón M — 14 Jun 2012
A metaphorical and literal powder-keg, "The Wages of Fear" is perhaps the most intense and suspenseful film I have ever seen. Of course, when the brunt of the movie is about two trucks full of nitro-glycerin driving through the mountains, it kind of comes naturally.
As a result, I think that this movie has pretty much locked its place in the top ten movies I've ever seen.
