Review of The Wackness (2008) by Samantha L — 12 Aug 2009
Josh Peck was really good in this. Olivia Thirlby was actually pretty good in this too. The only other movie I saw her in was Juno. She was okay in that, nothing special in that. But she was much better in this compared to Juno. Mary-Kate Olsen's character was just really weird. Overall the movie was just plain weird, but it did hold my interest, not fully but it did hold it.
SPOILERS........
I felt bad for Peck in the movie since Thirlby broke his heart in the end. The movie may not have a happy ending but at least it was real. So this movie was supposedly taking place in 1994 and New York City sure looks a whole lot different then than it does now.
