8/3/08: The Wackness takes place in NYC in the summer of 1994â??pagers were hip; and hip hop music was even hipper. Recent high school grad Luke Shapiro (Josh Peck) is a pot dealer who forges an unlikely friendship with Dr.
Jeffrey Squires (Ben Kingsley), a psychiatrist. Both are lost souls. I loved this movieâ??I thought it was brilliant. Donâ??t vomit â?? but Mary-Kate Olsen has a small role in this film and she was good.
Iâ??m cutting her some slack.
