Review of The Wackness (2008) by John K — 09 Jan 2013
While it does at times feel a little too melodramatic, it never once feels disingenuous in its storytelling. The dope way in which Levine tackles drugs, depression, and "fly ladies" gives The Wackness the fresh originality it needs to make for an entertaining coming-of-age story.
