This movie kind of reminded me of books i've read (less than zero, norwegian wood, and a couple of others) all meshed into one. ben kingsley was really good in this movie. while I felt josh peck did a great job, he still reminded me of his role from the tv show drake & josh, even though he's a lot more unscrupulous in this movie.
I think this movei worked because they set it in nyc's mid-nineties manhattan. good coming of age movie. famke was hot as ever in this.
