Review of The Voices (2014) by Jon C — 28 May 2015
A bizarre black comedy with Ryan Reynolds, Gemma Arterton, and Anna Kendrick.
Very gory but done in a hilarious manner.
The mind is a fragile thing and Jerry has it rough killing to meet his pets' demands.
The voices act as his own insecurities being that he's been through hell and back and afraid of being truly alone.
The cat has him acting against his better judgement; his cat is the most offensive yet the most enjoyable voice.
Barely any music but this slasher flick ends up being just as goofy as it can be.
And I gotta say the ending is just so goofy from the rest of the dark, downbeat attitude of the whole thing.
