Review of The Voices (2014) by Bill B — 08 Nov 2016
Being a pretty easy mark for Ryan Reynolds, I wasn't surprised to dig this, but I was pretty amused by how dark and gallows-humor-filled it is, with our lead playing a mundane (but slightly odd) everyman type at a bathtub factory, living alone with his dog and cat.
Little does anyone suspect that when that mild mannered guy is alone, he's sitting around visiting with his talking cat and dog, who seem to be in a war to encourage or discourage him from taking out his frustrations on the world, and when the pretty gals from work start to see his oddball side, holy shit, things go sideways.
Worth a rental.
