Review of The Visitor (1979) by Russ B — 27 Mar 2014
Wow. Just when I thought I had seen every good cult 70's flick is to see The Alamo Drafthouse throws another at me. First off I loved this. Its is tottaly weird and is dripping witthe that bizzare 70's drive-in aura that so many of of us know and love.
The cast is an ambitous and remerkanle lot, we have John Huston, Lance Henriksen, Sam Peckinpah (whose lines are clearly dubbed by another actor), Gleen Ford and Shelly WInters just to name a few.
The final fight scene in the end even let this 70's violence jaded viewer slightly shook up and jarred. Really do not miss this it is almost a masterpeice.
The Visitor is definelty worth a visit.
