Review of The Visit (2015) by Lxquickjustice — 01 Feb 2016
I'm beginning to think Mr. Shyamalan's film career is actually a secret psychological experiment being carried out by Hollywood to judge how marketing can affect a movie's sales, regardless of the movie's actual content.
This one was just as bad as the other stupid, pointless and unsatisfying movies he's made in the past, yet somehow people are giving it better scores and calling it a return to form? A return to what? 0 storytelling? It's the same thing every time.
.. Build up to something that never happens with the dumbest plot imaginable and grossly annoying characters. Seriously, you couldn't make a movie this bad if you tried. The kid struggling to rap over and over again was beyond excruciating.
