Banale e prevedibile tentativo del famigerato regista statunitense nel creare un film horror dall'aspetto piuttosto deprimente ed involontariamente divertente. Shyamalan stupisce più per l'incostanza che ha nel dirigere film, prima sforna capolavori senza tempo, e dopo si dedica a tristi pellicole che sembrano essere fatte solo per racimolare qualche soldo.
The Visit è un film senza sale, che non coinvolge, non decolla e che in fin dei conti non lascia niente.
