Review of The Virginity Hit (2010) by Jen B — 23 Feb 2011
Matt is the last of four friends to lose his virginity. His step-brother Zack films his every move as he plans the special night, but things go awry when he discovers his girlfriend has been cheating on him.
Directed by Botko & Gurland, masters of the mock-doc (they wrote The Last Exorcism) this is a much less convincing set up, and fails primarily as the characters are so boring. Don't expect the gross-out laughs of American Pie, this is gentle comedy at best, but ultimately a pointless exercise.
For a more rewarding watch track down the directors' earlier film Mail Order Wife instead.
