Review of The Virginity Hit (2010) by Bill B — 03 Jan 2012
Okay, I think I may be rating this a bit harsher than I actually need to, but honestly for every moment that was slightly amusing, there were tons of bits that seemed ridiculously stretched to be stuck in the movie, most of it involving the highly unlikely instance that people would be taping everything they do for EVERY moment of their lives.
Add to this the fact that these kids are ridiculously open about booze and drugs in front of the average suburban parents and I start to roll my eyes, it's just a bit over the top and asking me to suspend a bit too much disbelief.
I would say this would be an amusing 'Are you kidding me?' kind of double feature with Catfish, which is another conveniently shot handicam film that alleges to actually be real. At least we know this one is scripted, the Catfish folks maintain that they captured 'reality'.
