Fifty years ago this movie was made. For that, it's originality, and the revenge films that copied it in the 70s and beyond, I give it 5 stars. Wes Craven's Last House on the Left (which started his career as a legitimate filmmaker) pays homage to this film.
Pretty gritty stuff for 1960.
