Review of The Virgin Queen (1955) by Grant S — 12 May 2011
Disappointing. I was hoping for more of Raleigh's exploits on the high seas, instead I got none, and just the relationship drama with Queen Elizabeth I. The drama is overwraught, leaving the movie to drift.
This is only brokern up by lame, contrived and gratuitous sword-fights.
