Review of The Virgin Queen (1955) by Victor L — 19 Feb 2007
:fresh: Bette Davis is once again amazing!, she is Queen Elizabeth a strong and wicked queen that makes this film work. Good costumes, good art direction, good makeup but bad performance by Joan Collins and a so-so script ruins a possible classical status.
A film that must be watched only for Bette Davis presence, she was a queen of acting..
