Review of The Village (2004) by Hiram R — 28 May 2011

I am rating it a bit higher than I normally would, because I believe it has been unfairly judged. This movie was advertised as a horror movie when it was not. People went to watch it in the mood to see a horror movie and were disappoint by what they got.

In reality this movie is actually a mystery movie. I am pretty sure that if the advertising had targeted people interested in mysteries, it would have fared much better. It is a good movie and if you are in the mood for a mystery I highly recommend it.
