"Hail Ragnar...and Hail Ragnar's Beard!".
Wonderful action yarn & still great fun to watch. Endlessly shown on TV in the 70's, where I discovered it. My brother and I tried to re-enact the axe-throwing scene w/ our sister, but mom wasn't having it (sorry about chopping off that pigtail, Tina!). : p.
Kirk Douglas at his angriest, Borgnine leaping to his death into a pit of wolves, and Tony Curtis usibng a falcon to rip out Kirk's eye...this one has it all. OOOODDDIIINNN!!!!!!...lol...!
