I don't understand the critics' reviews - I absolutely loved the film and it is one of the best films i've ever seen. The acting was superb, and the flashback storytelling was brilliant, giving punch-in-the-stomach revelations about how and why sidney 'vanished'.
tragic and so, so sad. an outstanding movie.
