When a man's (Keifer Suterland) girlfriend (Sandra Bullock) disappears at a gas station he spends the next three years obsessing about what might have happened with the kidnapper (Jeff Bridges) following his efforts.
Interesting suspense that keeps you watching and wondering along with the main character.
Based on Tim Krabbe's novel The Golden Egg this American remake was directed by the original Dutch film's (Spoorloos - 1998) director George Sluizer however the ending was changed for American audiences.
