This uniformly terrible film is a blight on the excellent original film, Spoorloos, and features Jeff Bridges in what is perhaps the worst performance of his career. Additionally, it replaces the shocking and powerful climax of the original with a trite, happy Hollywood ending.
Avoid this one and stick to the original.
