Review of The U.S. vs. John Lennon (2006) by Alister N — 17 Jun 2007
After the intial promotion as conspiracy theory and its deliberately provocative title, its relieving to see that the film is as much - if not moreso - a portrait of an artistic legend, who however inarticulate still managed to be effective (and humourous) in the face of oppressive politics during a time of radical change.
A legacy to which every pop star with a conscience now rises to.
