Review of The U.S. vs. John Lennon (2006) by Boogie H — 19 Oct 2007
Some really strong imagery, and essentially just another reason to make you lose faith in humanity and the government. I think the intro information could have been skipped, it was kind of common knowledge (especially to those who are making it a point to see this flick).
I've been in strong opposition of Yoko Ono's existence for quite some time, but this gave me a very different perspective on her. I actually found myself liking her, and liking them together which I never thought I'd do.
We're presented with amazingly intimate footage of the two which is beautiful and (dare I say) touching. This is a winner because it does exactly what a documentary of this sort is supposed to, light a fire in your belly.
My belly, ladies and gentlemen, is on fire.
