Might be considered a chick flick but the interplay between Costner and Allen is sharp as a tack. Caustic, warm, cold you name it the relationship between the seemingly abandoned and alcoholic wife and the ex-baseball player has them all.
Good acting and a nice twist at the end which didn't detract from the overral feel.
