Review of The Untouchables (1987) by Pete H — 04 Jan 2010
This was a very good movie about gettin' done what needs gettin' done. The Untouchables were all likable, but largely underdeveloped characters. They made up for that by being all around BA. The story is interesting and has plenty of good action.
Some parts were very intense, like the shootout at the train station. There was also some interesting camera work going on. Unfortunately, the score was pretty cheesy and broke the mood of the film in several places.
Also, Sean Connery seems to be playing an Irish cop with a Scottish accent. Nitpicking aside, though, it was quite good.
