Review of The Untouchables (1987) by Matthew C — 28 Apr 2013
De Palma's winning effort includes a phenomenal cast and gripping direction. Costner and Connery are on fire especially with De Niro on the flip side. The train station scene is incredible and the theme touches on marriage and becoming what you fight.
The 30s war on alcohol reminds us of what the law leads to no matter the intentions and how what's right doesn't change even if the law does.
