Review of The Untouchables (1987) by Scott W — 14 Jun 2013
One of the finest films ever made. Costner, Garcia, DeNiro and an oscar winning Sean Connery as an Irish cop with a Scottish accent all give quality performances but for me it is the legend that is Billy Drago that stands out the most as Capone's enforcer Frank NittiIt.
This flick contains so many memorable scenes. Its opening with "I grew up in a tough neighbourhood", Connery and the wop bringing a knife to a gun fight and the Battleship Potemkin shoot out on the steps of Union Station.
The soundtrack by Morricone is immense.
