Good but not excellent. if you like slower-paced movies, this is a good one. check that, great one. I truly enjoyed the performance of Don Cheadle, I expected more from Kevin Spacey and I thought Ryan Gosling was excellent.
The plot is nothing to rave about, but the narration by Leland makes it all worthwhile, his character's insight and depth of emotion are refreshing and more than welcome in a time when most movies are about chiseled muscles and seductive curves.
the hardest thing to take about this movie is the pace. maybe it was meant to be more thoughtful than action-oriented, but I just got so bored sometimes I had to get up and do something.
