Review of The Unbelievers (2013) by Peter H — 03 Oct 2014
Richard Dawkins and Lawrence Krauss are eloquent spokespeople for the cause of a science-based worldview. I appreciated the celebrity cameos. Where the film falls short is it's wasted time showing travel and transition.
The pivotal moment for me in the film was when the Archbishop of Sydney showed his ignorance and disdain by not doing his homework prior to an appearance on Debate Q & A with Dr. Dawkins. Notwithstanding, I think this movie is an important step up from Religulous, which only seemed to serve to ridicule religion.
I think that approach will get humans nowhere, even though I agree with it.
